He clambered out just in time to avoid Donald slamming into him and watched as Yuki swiftly climbed metal rungs on the wall to open a hatch in the ceiling above. The group found themselves out in the trademark sunshine of the cat kingdom. “We’re at the back of the castle” Baron mused. Yuki gestured to the sight sprawled out before them. “The only way back to your world is through that tower” gesturing to the white and red spire that seemed to stab into the sky “and the only way to reach the tower is through there.” She pointed out the enormous stone maze surrounding the tower. “Here, we are. Now all we need to do is find Haru.” The heroic quartet had just entered the enormous castle. Sora tried not to get distracted by the seemingly endless murals of fish and mice adorning the walls. Surprisingly, they encountered no resistance from either cat guards or Heartless which honestly would have been helpful in keeping him focused. Baron’s observation, however, snapped him out of his gaping. “Where do ya think everyone went?” Sora asked, feeling vaguely lost. “Maybe in there?” Goofy pointed to a large door at the end of the entrance hall. Sora could just make out a large crowd of cats peering through the open doors at whatever was happening within. “Hmmm…” Sora turned just in time to see Baron dart through a small door. The dapper feline emerged wearing a navy-blue cape, a matching hat adorned with a large white feather, and a mask like Sora had seen in pictures of people attending fancy masquerade balls. “You three are going to need some disguises as well.”

Who wouldn't want protection? They were also impressed, as well as sympathetic, to his other desire, to be a protector as well as protected.
